Overview

Reliability Online offers two distinct modes of data collection, surveillance or walk-around. The surveillance mode is available when automated data collection is required. When periodic data collection is the solution then a walk-around system is employed.

Rockwell Automation's ROL consultants will meet with you to review the objectives of the program. An audit will be performed by Entek to identify which machines are to be monitored and gather their details. Based upon machine criticality the "best" data collection intervals will be set. The setting of the data collection intervals will determine whether surveillance or walk-around or a combination of both will be the correct solution. Entek will make recommendations as to data collection locations and if a permanent transducer installation is required based upon safety, environment or data collection modes (walk-around or surveillance). When walk-around systems are the solution you are responsible for providing data collection. When surveillance systems are the solution, you are responsible for providing an external IP address or a dedicated analog phone line, for automatic data collection.

A secure, dedicated web page is provided on the Entek Service's web site for you to load and unload the data from the data collector, previous reports can also be reviewed. On receiving data (via Internet or phone) Rockwell Automation's ROL professionals will analyse and promptly report on the status of your machinery in-order that the appropriate maintenance activities can be performed.
