Course Purpose:
This course provides students with the skills necessary to install a PowerFlex 70 and PowerFlex 700 drive, program it according to specifications, install and configure a communication adapter and learn valuable troubleshooting techniques.
Throughout the course, the instructor will demonstrate how to install, start up, and troubleshoot a PowerFlex 70/700 drive. After each demonstration, the student will be given an application-based exercise that offers extensive hands-on practice using the LCD HIM and DriveExecutive™ software.

- Configuring the PowerFlex 70/700 Drive for Full Start Up
- Configuring the PowerFlex 70/700 Drive for communication with a ControlLogix controller
- Troubleshooting a PowerFlex 70/700 Drive System Common configuration issues

To successfully complete this course, students require a general knowledge of electrical principles, circuits, and safety practices.
